Fiber & Network Services

The emergence of the Optical communications has created a new set of networking challenges. Chief among them is a clear and growing gap between the capacity for fiber-based networks to transport data and the degree to which applications can be performed on that traffic. As core network throughput continues to increase, edge-based applications are struggling to keep up with a virtual fire-hose of data.

Pishon provides enterprise customers and government customers in Washington Metropolitan areas and its surrounding boroughs with state of the art, custom built dark fiber optic networks. Pishon provides its customers with the option to leverage an existing dark fiber network as an extension of their own, or to build a new, dedicated, private fiber network.

PISHON develops innovative solutions for large enterprises and government organizations to reduce the cost of operating networks, improve efficiency, and provide more granular control over content.

Our Fiber & Network Services include:

Our experienced consultants and network engineers always listen to our customer first and then develop best solution to meet our customer’s need. As your project architect and business partner, Pishon helps to ensure that you don't overbuild or under build.

Dark Fiber Services

Dark fiber offers a fast, secure, cost-effective alternative to traditional networks. Our customers are offered the flexibility of owning their own custom network and have access to virtually unlimited bandwidth. ADS leases strands of dark fiber as opposed to bandwidth in lit fiber; our customers have control over their own optics and thus their own network carrying capacity.

Our dark fiber is virtually free from outside interference, interception or interruption, giving our customers the most secure network possible. Our customers benefit from increased speed, carrying capability, and diversity.

Ethernet Services

Pishon’s Ethernet services provide three products:

  • E-Line: Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint configurations
  • E-LAN: Multipoint-to-Multipoint configuration
  • Ethernet Private Dedicated Network (E-PDN): Completely private, fully managed service with dedicated fiber and equipment.
